CSI is also committed to participating in technical working groups whose aim is to identify safety performance requirements for future vehicles, developing active safety protocols (ADAS – Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
CSI has participated in the development and application of test procedures for C2C AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) systems, AEB VRU Pedestrian, Cyclist and Motorcyclist systems (systems designed to prevent collisions with vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists)), and Lateral Support.
Furthermore, CSI is engaged in the development of future connectivity systems (V2X) and autonomous driving technologies.
CSI utilises state-of-the-art instrumentation for performance measurement and test execution.
CSI has:
Furthermore, upon customer request, it is able to manage complex set-ups, as well as the acquisition and analysis of data from both the vehicle and external instrumentation (“black box approach”).
CSI with more than 5 km of tracks can offer the right facility for the test performance requested; furthermore can offer testing services on external proving ground with which there is a strong collaboration.
