CSI, using its own tracks, offers test services either for homologation test or performance development activities.

Qualified technicians support its client in the evaluation and in the development of electronic systems.  

The main test activities are:

  • Brake performance test (ECE R13-H, FMVSS135, FMVSS105)
  • ESC test (ECE 130, FMVSS126)
  • BAS test (ECE 131)
  • TPMS test (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) (ECE R64, FMVSS138)
  • Temporary-use spare unit test (ECE R64)
  • Steering Equipment test (ECE79).

It offers also benchmarking services, both subjective and objective, to define performance targets.

CSI can support its client also in the Vehicle Dynamics field, via multibody simulations with Adams and Motion Solve codes.  

Subject of development can be the suspension system (all the various types and the different components), evaluated though bench test, either the full vehicle and (distinguishing from vehicle for daily use, sports car, commercial vehicle, motorcycle…) can be studied with virtual bench and road test. The know-how, available thanks to the constant interaction with test, is major plus that allows the simulation to approach the analysis with a methodology developed over many years.

 The CAE service of CSI provides a full support to customers during all the vehicle development phases, from the Concept to the Homogolation/Self-Certification. The cyber security in the automotive field impacts the protection of all the important elements in the vehicle from the treats to the IT safety: a cyber security assessment is required to analyse all the dangers and evaluate risks linked to the exposure to internet of the connected-car.
