CSI has a laboratory equipped with a roller bench in a semi- anechoic chamber with a controlled room temperature. The chamber offers the possibility to asees the NVH performance of the vehicle. The control system allows to duplicate different driving condition (accelation, costant speed, coastdown). The bench can handle vehicles with two or four driving wheels having independent reels. Also, it can be used for testing motocycles.

CSI can also perform modal analysis on vehicles or components and support the client in the development of the NVH performance.
In collaboration with our virtual testing sector, CSI can offer CAE support also in NVH field, simulating the structural behavior of the vehicle on different level, for example BIW, Trimmed Body, Full Vehicle, Subsystems (including batteries).
From the traditional torsional and bending stiffness activities, we can manage modal and dynamic stiffness, as well as studies to assess fatigue strength, on metal sheets and welding points, based on load cycle that can be specified by the client or suggested by CSI based on the developed know-how.
