Full-scale Crash

Full-scale vehicle crash tests represent the most critical phase in automotive passive safety validation. These complex and high-cost tests require advanced infrastructure and high-precision measurement systems.

CSI ensures maximum operational flexibility with two independent crash tracks, enabling up to 4 parallel tests per day.

Test Capabilities

We cover all major regulatory scenarios:

  • Frontal impacts (including car-to-car)
  • Side impacts (pole and moving deformable barrier - MDB)
  • Rear impacts with moving barrier
  • Calibration tests for airbags and pretensioners
  • Insurance tests (RCAR/AZT) for damage and repair cost evaluation
  • Dynamic roll-over tests: embankment, corkscrew, curb trip, soil trip
  • High-voltage battery crash tests (HV) in dedicated safe area

Data Acquisition Systems

Our facilities include state-of-the-art high-speed cameras, both onboard and trackside, ensuring flexible video capture from any angle.
